There was a trial by suit of Olga Polischuk to the owner of newspaper “Kurs” (Kokshetau), LLP “Rek-Vizit” and editor of the edition Marina Rybalko about protection of honor, dignity and business reputation; recovery of KZT50000 (1USD=145.49) as moral damage in solidary order in Kokshetau City Court on June 07, 2011. Court has satisfied a suit partially.

The charges stemmed from article “Road of Sorrows” by Marina Rybalko, which was published in the newspaper “Kurs” (Kokshetau) on January 27, 2011. It was connected with the dispute between Olga Polischuk and her kinswoman about the title to dwelling. Olga Polischuk has thought that this article discredited her. She has filed a suit to Kokshetau City Court; demanded the recovery of KZT1000000 (1USD=145.49). Defendants have said about their intention to address to appeals instance.
