Officers of financial police did not conduct any arrangements with respect to Victor Miroshnichenko

Deputy for Chairman of Agency for Economic and Corruption-Related Crimes of the Republic of Kazakhstan Samat Ashimbayev has replied on official letter of servicemen of international foundation for protection of freedom of speech "Adil Soz", related to reporter of the newspaper "Vremya" (North Kazakhstan) Victor Miroshnichenko.

Servicemen of international foundation for protection of freedom of speech "Adil Soz" have received a letter from the reporter of republican newspaper "Vremya" (North Kazakhstan oblast) Victor Miroshnichenko on December 29, 2010. There was information on probable provocation with respect to Victor Miroshnichenko to interfere with his professional activity. V. Miroshnichenko worried about faked charges, brought against him. For example, distribution of drugs, possession of firearms and commitment of other grave offences.

Samat Ashimbayev has said that officers of financial police did not conduct any arrangements with respect to Victor Miroshnichenko. His professional activity, which was directed to protection of rights of citizens and struggle for corruption has been timely and actual.
