Deputy for Akim (Governor) of Ust-Kamenogorsk threatened to bring suit against reporter of Internet-portal “Stan.kz” Alla Stepanova

On October 20, 2010 Deputy for Akim (Ust-Kamenogosk) Askar Nurgaziev has called to reporter of Internet-portal “Stan.kz” Alla Stepanova. He asked her to provide explanatory note, related to the publication of materials about previous meeting; was unsatisfied by publication of article in the newspaper and said about his intention to bring a suit against journalist about protection of honor, dignity and business reputation. Askar Nurgaziev wanted to make the acquaintance of Internet-portal's reporter“Stan.kz” Alla Stepanova; did not even threaten her.

On October 05, 2010 Deputy for Akim (Governor) of Ust-Kamenogorsk Nurgaziev has advised to reporter of portal Alla Stepanova not to cover the protest of pensioners, related to increased tariffs for the fare. Alla Stepanova has said about unknown persons, who looked after her. Police officers have carried out planned inspection of one flat according to her registration address.
