Serviceman of Pavlodar Regional Akimat (Administration) was rebuked for deficiency of censorship in newspaper “Zvezda Priirtyshyia”

There was an appeal of Samat Umurzakov on blog of Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov on May 12, 2010. He was dissatisfied by information on action “George Ribbon” published in state regional newspaper “Zvezda Priirtyshyia” in column “Gorodskoy Daighest”. This action was conducted by editorial staff of the newspaper “Vzglyad” and servicemen of non-registered party “Alga”.
Minister of Communication and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Zhumagaliev has received a letter. He said that about rebuke which was given to Director of Center of Analytical Information, Department of Internal Policy of Pavlodar in reply to his blog. It was connected with control over publications in departmental printed edition “Zvezda Priirtyshyia”.
The information, which was placed on pages of the newspaper with mention of opposition party “Alga”. It was interpreted as violation. As a result of it Department Internal Policy of Pavlodar Regional Akimat (Administration). It conducted a session with editors-in-chief of regional newspapers, concerning necessity of fulfillment of main tasks of the edition.
