JSC “Tengizneftstroy” demanded 70 000 000 tenge as recovery from newspaper “Uralskaya nedelya” and journalist Lukpan Akhmedyarov

 

JSC “Tengizneftstroy” addressed to Uralsk City Court №2 with suit about protection of honor, dignity, business reputation and 70 000 000 tenge as recovery to the journalist Lukpan Akhmedyarov and founder of the newspaper LLP “Journalistkaya initiativa”.

The charges stemmed from“For coverage of the tender”, published on August 06, 2009. LLP “Tengizneftstroy” has begun project implementation before beginning of tender of state order, concerning gasification of Zhympity-Karatuba.

Employees of the company have not been agreed with two fragments in the article. They have thought that there was untruth information.

The first fragment has been about lack of tender, but there was appearance of the company. It was connected with actions of persons, who have been interested in successful tender for the company from Atyrau.

The last one has been about that office of Gumar Dusembayev transferred its money to “Tengizneftstroy” without carrying out of tender.

LLP “Tengizneftstroy” provided technical equipment and tubes; built working zone on the place of future construction before tender conduction. Representative of the company wanted to show himself as well-off pretender to budget project.

It has been second suit of publication “For coverage of the tender”. The first suit has been brought against Lukpan Akhmedyarov and founder of the newspaper LLP “Journalistkaya initiativa” to court on August 20, 2009. LLP “Tengizneftstroy” has withdrawn its record. They have proposed to solve disagreements in pre-trial order.

Editorial staff has published a more precise definition to this material. But, employees of LLP “Tengizneftstroy” thought that staff of the newspaper “Uralskaya nedelya” did not publish refutation. Employees of LLP “Tengizneftstroy” addressed to the court again.
