Website of Satellite TV Channel “K-plus” has been blocked after breakdown of signal

Website of Satellite TV Channel “K-plus” www.kplus-tv.net with direct Internet-broadcasting from satellite Hot Bird has been non-accessible for Kazakhstan’s people, who used services of providers “Nursat” and “Kazakhtelecom” from October 26, 2009. There were regrets from clients of “Kazakhtelecom” in Astana and Almaty.
Provider “Kazakhtelecom” and Press Service of Agency of Information and Communication have received the request of newspaper “Respublika”. They had no any relation to blocking of the website. Head of Company “K-plus” Bakhytzhan Ketebayev has said about bringing of suit against providers, who blocked website.
Owners of website said that it has been blocked after television signal from satellite “Yamal-200”.
Signal “K-plus” (it meant signal from Russian satellite “Yamal-200”) was stopped by “unknown hooligans”. The staff of television channel thought that it has been from military base, located under Saryagash.
Employees of TV Company “K-plus” made a request. They asked to provide alternate frequency for them. But there was no any reply on it. Russian Administration did not provide any answer for it; satellite operator “Gazprom space systems” proposed cancellation of contract for broadcasting.
