Initiative group of campaign “For Free Internet!” was detained by police officers near hotel “Intercontinental Almaty-Ankara” and got to Bostandyk District Department of Internal Affairs for verification of the identity allegedly.
A participant of the initiative group Irene Mednikova has said that Almaty Internet-users planned carrying out of flash-mob under title “Blogger in prison”. Activists went to bus stop and did not make any actions during detention.
An indictment was not brought by police officers during two and half hours.
