Head of editorial office of newspaper “Taszhargan” Yermurat Bapi was arrested

Chief Editor of the newspaper “Taszhargan” Yermurat Bapi was arrested and condemned on April 23, 2009.
He was charged of persistent non-fulfillment of judgment. There was early judgment about recovery of 30 000 000 tenge ($200 000 USD) as moral damage in favor of Deputy of Majilis Romin Madinov. This judgment about recovery of this sum is impossible. Editorial staff has said that they had no any funds. They have said about it during legal proceeding.
This judgment was appealed in supervisory order. The legal proceeding should be on April 22, 2009. It was postponed by fictitious reasons.
It is necessary to bring criminal case against journalist for persistent non-fulfillment of judgment and convict him to some years of imprisonment in accordance with law of the Republic of Kazakhstan after administrative proceeding.
