Popular Internet-newspaper “Zona.KZ” was exposed to hacker’s attack again

As International News Agency KazTAG informed that websites of popular Internet-newspaper (it is popular in Kazakhstan) “Zona.KZ” and Russian Press Agency “Fergana.Ru” were exposed to DDos-attack again. Chief Editor of the Internet-newspaper “Zona.KZ” Yuri Mizinov has said to correspondent of KazTAG.
He has said that website “Zona.KZ” has been non-accessible for Kazakhstan’s and foreign users from 22.00 p.m. on April 02, 2009 till on April 02, 2009. Editorial staff did not know about motives of DDos-attack and its executers. Yuri Mizinov has thought that this attack had purposeful character as in last time.
Mizinov has applied for Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov over his personal blog. Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov has replied on his first appeal on March 03, 2009. He has ordered to his proper specialists to resolve this situation and asked not to make this problem as political. But, there were attacks. Now, server was not functioned. Mizinov had some questions for Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov. It was connected with solution of this problem by proper specialists, motives of DDos-attack; situation in KazNET, lack of order and reasons of attack.
The website of popular Internet- newspaper was exposed to mass DDos-attacks. It had happened at 19.00 p.m. on February 13, 2009 and continued to 14.00 p.m. on February 14, 2009; access to Internet-newspaper “Zona.KZ” has been non-accessible for Kazakhstan’s Internet-users from 22.00 p.m. on February 18, 2009. The same case has been with portal of the newspaper “Respublika”. Editor of the website Anastasia Novikova has said that there was disconnection in technical equipment of the server, where portal was placed. It was caused by mass DDos-attack. Editorial staff did not know about motives of DDos-attack and its executers.
There were two kinds of attacks (it means Dos-attack and DDos-attack). These attacks have been provided for computer system; aimed at glitch of system. As a result of it legal users of the system had not any access to resources, or this access has been difficult.
Yuri Mizinov has said to correspondent of International Foundation for Protection of Freedom of Speech “Adil soz” about continuation of the attack.
