There were cases of violations of rights of journalists in regional court of Zhambyl region

Proper correspondent of the newspaper “Vremya” of Zhambyl region Galina Vybornova has addressed to Administrator of Courts of Zhambyl region K. Sagintayev, concerning violation of rights of journalists for coverage of open court processes.
In January court officer did not allow B. Shermakhanov, V. Sarzhanov, and K. Chifin (by charge of citizens) and photo correspondent Aziz Kushakov to open court process. Galina Vybornova has asked for court officer to call his surname, but he concealed.
On February 13, 2009 these court officers did not allow photo correspondent to open legal proceeding by this case and promised to make a telephone call to the police.
The bailiff interfered to photo journalist into his professional activity after completion of legal proceeding. He has tried to close objective of photo camera by hand.
On March 04, 2009 bailiff has taken photo camera of Schukina by force. She has tried to make photos in foyer of regional court.
