There was attack on film crew of TV Radio Company “Astana”. It was connected with making of the review about conduction of unsanctioned demonstration in the park Sary-Arka.
There were journalists Reshat Kozhebek, Zimfira Gaphitulina and operator Yerkibelan Kenzhezhugulov in the park. It was planned to conduct demonstration of employees of scientific and research institutes. The group has collected necessary information for making of the review.
Four men have come to them in civil cloth and asked for them to leave for park in rough form.
Journalists have refused to do it. These strange men have refused to introduce themselves. They have tried to take video camera and tripod. There was a scuffle. As a result of it the video camera lens was broken and its tripod was damaged. The cost of video camera has been 35 000 USD.
Head of Department of Internal Affairs of Almaty General Turgumbayev has advised to journalists to write a statement to DIA, when he came to there.
Journalists have addressed to DIA and General Prosecutor’s Office with their statements.
