Portal of the newspaper “Respublika” faced to mass DDos-attack

On February 17, 2009 editorial staff of the newspaper “Respublika” has informed that portal www.respublika-kz.info had been non-accessible for Kazakhstan’s and foreign Internet-users from evening February 13, 2009. Chief Editor of the portal Anastasiya Novikova has said that website faced to mass DDos-attack. As a result of it there was disconnection in technical equipment of the server, where portal was placed. Now, there are prophylactic works, connected with repair and restoration of technical equipment. Editorial staff hopes that portal will be in network today and tomorrow.
