Website “ZoneKZ” was blocked during one day

The website of popular Internet-newspaper www.zonakz.net (it is popular in Kazakhstan) was blocked for Kazakhstan’s and foreign Internet’s users. It was non-accessible from 19.00 p.m. (on February 13, 2009) to 14.00 p.m. (on February 14, 2009). Chief Editor of Internet-newspaper Yuri Mizinov has said that website had mass DDos-attack. Editorial staff had no any information about DDos-attack and its executors. Yuri Mizinov thinks that this attack had purposeful character and qualifies it as phenomenon of virtual terrorism.
