Know-how from the deputy mayor: a test for profound thinking of journalists

After the January riots, the akimat (mayor's office) of the Aktobe region conducted an online briefing. Ruslan Khambarov, the first deputy akim (mayor) of the region was among the speakers.

Ardak Yerubaeva, Nur.kz reporter asked via Instagram why Ruslan Khambarov did not go out promptly to the protesters to calm the people and to explain the situation and the participants of the rally had to wait for him for a long time. 

“Here is my answer: such questions on the latest events,  are asked by people with shallow pool mind ,” Ruslan Khambarov, the first deputy akim of the Aktobe region, said on the air.

How the official measures the depth of thinking and why he is so concerned about the depth of thinking of a journalist? Nothing is known about that. He did not go into details.

The journalist believes that Khambarov just avoided  a specific question.
