Lukpan Akhmedyarov released, but challenges his conviction

Uralsk journalist Lukpan Akhmedyarov was released after serving 10 days of administrative arrest, that he challenges.
His lawyer, Mereke Gabdualiyev, appealed the court decision, but without success. Now he has filed a motion to file a protest with the Prosecutor General's Office and a motion to the Supreme Court for certiorari and cassation. This will exhaust the national jurisdictions. If these efforts are unsuccesful, the lawyer intends to appeal to the UN Human Rights Committee.
