In Almaty mayor's office security guard threw Khabar-24 journalist out the door

On August 24,Akbope Tanirbergen, Khabar-24 TV reporter, and the cameraman came to the akimat (mayor's office) of the Alatau district of Almaty. When the journalist tried to enter the elevator, the guard grabbed her and forcibly carried her to the exit. He threw her out of the building and slammed the door. None of the akimat employees interfered despite the girl's desperate cries.
The akimat of the Alatau region said that the reason of the incident was the refusal of the TV channel employees to scan their COVID-status in Ashiq app and that it was the journalist who provoked the conflict. Nevertheless, the akimat called the behavior of its employee unacceptable and promised to carry out an internal investigation.
