Kazakhstan ranked 155 in the press freedom Index
20 april 2021
"Reporters without Borders" published the World Press Freedom Index-2021.
Good news: Kazakhstan has moved up two points in the Index.
Bad news: we are still in the “bad” zone. Last year our country ranked 157 out of 180, this year it ranked- 155.
And now a tricky question: how many years will it take Kazakhstan to reach at least the status of a “problem” country if it moves up two points a year? (This year in order to be referred to a “problem zone” a country had to move up at least to 107 line of the Index)
