The case on impeding the professional activities of the journalist was reopened

«Another attempt to revive article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan failed», - Adil soz wrote on January 31 telling about the conflict between a conflict between aTemirtau journalist Oleg Gusev and the management of ArcelorMittal Temirtau.

We are pleased to announce that it was too early to come to such conclusion. Gusev appealed the decision to dismiss the case. Actually,  the Karaganda regional prosecutor's office responded that the case was dismissed correctly, but the journalist did not give up, wrote a new complaint, and  brought the incident to wide publicity through the media. On March 11, a new resolution was issued - on the resumption of the investigation under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of  journalist Oleg Gusev's statement. The prosecutors who misqualified the conflict situation were punished.
