In memory of Victor Miroshnichenko

We met Victor Miroshnichenko in 1999, soon after "Adil Soz" was founded. He published his investigation about malpractices of an official whose nme no one would remember now. The official sued him and accused the journalist in humiliating honor and dignity. And it was going on like this from year to year. Editors valued him, readers respected him, various people addressed him for help. He exposed drawbackes, helped people, asked uncomfortable questions. And he was receiving threats to be ruined and imprisoned from various levels officials and businessmen.

Victor faced 4 criminal and 25 civil charges for his articles just in last five years. He struggled sometimes won, sometimes lost, but he always put hos hearts and soul into his work. No wonder his heart gave out.
