In memory of Gennady Benditsky

Such people as Gennady Benditsky are usually called «man with a capital M” - that's right, he was a real man. He was strong physically, strong in spirit, completely fearless hard-hitting journalist.
His work caused him many lawsuits, criminal charges and civil claims. People he criticized in his articles hated him and loudly blamed him for all the deadly sins. Voices of others, whom he defended, or even literally saved, sounded quieter, but wholeheartedly. Such is the lot of investigative reporters.
There are always very few such professionals as Benditsky was, but they make us proud of journalism. And we have just lost one of them ...
We were companions and like-minded people with Benditsky. Goodbye, our dear friend!
