Police officers in ciwies searched film crew of informational portal "Stan.kz"

A car of news office of information portal "Stan.kz" (South Kazakhstan region) was stopped by four men in ciwies on October 08, 2010. They introduced themselves as police officers and showed their documents of servicemen of Department of Internal Affairs (South Kazakhstan region). Two of them began the examination of documents of the driver Anatoliy Garkusha, the other police officers blocked exits of back seat with camera man Ildar Zhunuskanov and saloon inspection. Camera man Ildar Zhunuskanov has tried to protect video camera by his shoulder from actions of police officers. As a result of it there was a conflict between film crew and police officers. During conflict Ildar Zhunusov has maled a very compelling argument. Police Officers of Department of Internal Affairs (South Kazakhstan region) refused from video camera examination. They asked him about place of work and goal of video recording; examined salon and luggage boot; permitted them to continue their way. Police officers said that the stoppage and car searching was done by them from suspicious-looking camera man Ildar Zhunuskanov and examination of documents.
