Former Advisor to Akim (Governor) of West Kazakhstan Region Alpamys Bekturganov was released

On September 30, 2010 Advisor to Akim (Governor) of West Kazakhstan Region Alpamys Bekturganov was released on a parole "for good behavior". He has served one third of the total term of punishment.
Earlier, Alpamys Bekturganov has been Advisor to Akim (Governor) till July 2009. In July 2009 Alpamys Bekturganov has conducted press conference, where he said about his pretensions, related to his chief. Bekturganov was unsatisfied by actions of akim (governor), directed to struggle for corruption.
Some days later, Alpamys Bekturganov was dismissed for professional impropriety and absense after scandal press conference. Baktykozha Izmukhambetov has brought a suit against Alpamys Bekturganov. Izmukhambetov charged Bekturganov with libel.
On August 13, 2009 A. Bekturganov was sentenced to one years of imprisonment and detained in custody in court room.
A. Bekturganov was charged with abuse of his office on September 22, 2009. He sold his two books for regional libraries. As a result of it A. Bekturganov was sentenced to three years of imprisonment.
He is going to restore in his rights, reinstate in his office and protect his honor, dignity and business reputation.
