On August 10, 2010 journalists of newspapers "Respublika" and "Vzglyad" Oksana Makushina, Larissa Shtaba, Tatiana Trubacheva, Askhat Akhmetbekov and Vladimir Rodionov were detained by police officers in Almaty.
Journalists came to city court with mops, orange gloves and photo of Zhanna Baytelova on their undershirt. Zhanna Baytelova was convicted to ten days of imprisonment on August 04, 2010. They said about their relation to unfair court decisions and sentences. Journalists conducted an action "Do you pass unfair sentences? Then we go to you!". Journalists were detained by police officers. They were charged with article 373 "Unsanctioned rally" of Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
