Court has dismissed suit of Uralsk Internet-users to Ministry of Communication and Information

On July 20, 2010 City Court №2 of Uralsk and Judge Galiya Dauletkalieva has made a ruling by suits of Internet-users to Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Servicemen of Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan did not take any appropriate measures with the regard to providers, who blocked popular information of Internet-resources in Kazakhstan.

The court has dismissed a suit. Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan has not been in charge to request any information from providers, or other materials about access to the Internet-resource, make control and find out reasons of blocking.

In May, 2010 Uralsk City Court has examined eight suits(there were totally ten suits) of Internet-users to Ministry of Communication and information of the Republic of Kazakhstan. They thought that servicemen of Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan should make state and technical control of the communication; did not take any measures of restoration of constitutional rights of Internet-users for free getting of the information and solution of problem, concerning blocking of Internet-portal and some its “mirrors”. But, there was no any decision of its owner, or court.
