Correspondents of independent newspapers “Respublika” and “Svoboda Slova” could not make information on important arrangements with the participation of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev.
Journalists of the newspaper “Respublika” could not attend at Kazakhstan Investment Summit on the plea of lack of accreditation on June 03, 2010. Photo correspondent of the newspaper “Golos Respubliki” Serikzhan Kovlanbayev and journalist of the newspaper “Svoboda Slova” Miras Nurmukhambetov could not attend at Council of Foreign Investors from lack of proper records in list of security office.
In both cases journalists had official accreditation. Editorial staff of the newspaper “Respublika” thought that suite of N.A. Nazarbayev protected from independent media outlets.
