Journalist of Aktobe newspaper “Diapasone” was beaten

The journalist of Aktobe independent newspaper “Diaposone” Yuri Geyst was beaten on May 24, 2010.
He had dinner in one of the cafe, which has been placed not far from editorial office. Two drunk men entered into cafe. One of them overturned chair and reached out his hand to Yuri Geyst. He said to Yuri Geyst such words as “Well, excuse” and hit him on his face.
Journalist called to police. Police officers of police office of Zavodsk have been there. First offender fleed from scene of the crime, but identity of the second one was established. Yuri Geyst filed a statement with police and made medicolegal investigation. A criminal case was opened by this incident.
