Suit on sum of more 2.5 millions tenge was brought against owner of newspaper “Lubimyi Gorod”

Representatives of LLP “Expert Arsenal” have brought a suit against owner of Kokshetau newspaper “Lubimyi Gorod” – LLP “Risk- Business”. There was a suit about protection of business reputation and making of refutation. Plaintiff demanded recovery of 60000 tenge (408USD) as harm, 2500000 tenge (17006USD) as moral damage and 116660 tenge (709USD) as court expenses.
The charges stemmed from article “Children’s strike”. This article was published in the newspaper “Lubimyi Gorod” in February 2010. The strike of schoolchildren was caused by gone bad food in Intellectual School of First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Representatives of LLP “Expert Arsenal” provided food for this school.
