International\r\nFoundation for Protection of Freedom of Speech «Adil\r\nSoz»\r\nhas conducted analysis of violations of right to freedom of\r\nexpression, receiving and dissemination of information in September,\r\n2016 in Kazakhstan.

Seitkazy\r\nand Aset Matayevs during judicial pleadings they protested theirs\r\ninnocence. Seitkazy Matayev in his last statement, he called names of\r\npersons, who insisted on judicial harassment.

Minister\r\nof Culture and Sport charged director Talgat Zhanybekov with slander.

Ministry\r\nof Information and Communications submitted Conception for draft law\r\nof the Republic of Kazakhstan “On\r\nAmendments and Supplements into Some Legislative Acts of the Republic\r\nof Kazakhstan of Information and Communications”\r\nto discuss it.
\r\nIn\r\nSeptember, three judicial acts of cases over suits on protection of\r\nhonour, dignity and business reputation were passed; three of them in\r\nfavour of journalists and citizens.
\r\nSince\r\nthe beginning of the year in connection with execution of right to\r\nfreedom of expression, receiving and dissemination of information,\r\nthey were brought:
\r\n-45\r\ncharges with slander (23 – passing data, Amangeldy Botabekov; 22\r\nlectures of Institute of Economy and Law);
\r\n-2\r\ncharges with propaganda or public calls on forced seizure of power;
\r\n-9\r\ncharges with incitement of social, religious and national enmity\r\n(article 174 of Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan); 3 of\r\nthem are passing data S. Mambetalin, E. Narymbaev and E.\r\nThaichibekov;
\r\n-1\r\ncharge with propaganda of terrorism (passing data, B. Satkangulov);
\r\n-11\r\ncharges with dissemination of misleading information (article 274 of\r\nCriminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 1 of them – JSC\r\n«KAZKOMMERTSBANK»\r\nagainst journalists of Internet-portal NAKANUNE.kz);
\r\n-1\r\ncharge with evasion of the payment of taxes;
\r\n-1\r\ncharge with embezzlement of entrusted of the other property;
\r\n-2\r\ncharges with fraud;
\r\nAnd\r\netc.

From\r\nJanuary-September, courts passed 35 judicial acts of suits on\r\nprotection of honour, dignity and business reputation (in first\r\ninstance- 27) in the total amount of KZT736 millions 460 thousands\r\nand 01.
