The\r\nBoard of Appeals has altered the judgement journalist Guzyal\r\nBaidalinova. It has changed imprisonment to suspended sentence. On\r\nJuly 05, 2016 appellate hearings should be conducted, but Tair\r\nKaldybaev was found hanged in jail ward. During legal trial on July\r\n12, 2016 upon prosecutorial motion court has eliminated criminal\r\nproceeding against Tair Kaldybaev (he was mentioned as customer of\r\narticles, devoted to “KAZKOMMERTSBANK”)\r\nfor the death of Kaldybaev.

The\r\ndraft law “On\r\nAmendments and Supplements into Some Legislative Acts of the Republic\r\nof Kazakhstan of Mass Media” was\r\nelaborated. It has conception to extend and strengthen control over\r\nmedia, requirements towards media to check all information for the\r\nbelievability and etc.

Police\r\nMajor Daniar Rakishev has demanded recovery of KZT10000000 as moral\r\ndamage compensation from editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Uralskaya\r\nNedelya”\r\nTamara Eslyamova and its editorial staff and asked to transfer them\r\nto bank account of House of Child. \r\n

The\r\nnewspaper\r\n“Tribuna.\r\nSayasi\r\nKalam” should\r\nrecover KZT5000000 general director of LLP “Almatyzharnama”.\r\nBut, court decision did not come into effect. \r\n

-8\r\ncharges with incitement of social, religious and national enmity\r\n(article 174 of Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan); 3 of\r\nthem are passing data S. Mambetalin, E. Narymbaev and E.\r\nThaichibekov;

-\r\n1 charge with propaganda of terrorism (passing data, B. Satkangulov);
\r\n
\r\n
-\r\n9 charges with dissemination of misleading information (article 274\r\nof Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 1 of them – JSC\r\n«KAZKOMMERTSBANK» against journalists of Internet-portal\r\nНАКАНУНЕ.kz);
