Former official of state department Nizami Gadzhiev has withdrawn his claim to newspaper "Temirtauskiy Rabochiy"

Former Deputy for Head of SD "Office of Housing and Communal Services, Passenger Transport and Car Roads" of Temirtau Nizami Gadzhiev has withdrawn his claim to freelance reporter of the newspaper "Temirtauskiy Rabochiy" Elena Kulakova, journalist of the edition "Vecherniya Gazeta"(Temirtau) Lidiya Frolova and Chief of Akim's (Governor) Administration (Temirtau) Serikzhan Kushumbayev.
The charges stemmed from publication of materials about anti-corruption forum. Reporters have used the information, which was sounded by S. Kushumbayev, who gave examples of corruption violatioions and crimes of local officials. Names, surnames and years of work of officials were not mentioned in materials.
But, Nizami Gadzhiev has decided that there was publication about him. He has charged Elena Kulakova, Lidiya Frolova and Serikzhan Kushumbayev with libel and demanded the publication of official contradiction as a recovery of moral damage.
If Serikzhan Kushumbayev had owned up, that he provided untruth information, Nizami Gadzhiev would have withdrawn his claim during the first trial. Gadzhiev has kept his word.
