International\r\nFoundation for Protection of Freedom of Speech \"Adil\r\nSoz\" has\r\nconducted a\r\nsurvey of violations of right to freedom of expression, receiving and\r\ndissemination of information in March, 2015 in Kazakhstan. \r\n
\r\nThere\r\nwas following information: \r\n
\r\n-A\r\nresident of Almaty Tatiana-Shvetsova was sentenced to four years of\r\ndeprivation of liberty with probation for incitement of national\r\nenmity. \r\n
\r\n-The\r\njournalist of newspaper \"Uralskaya\r\nNedelya\" (\"Ural\'s Week\") Maria\r\nKovaleva\r\nwas\r\ncharged\r\nwith dissemination of misleading information. The criminal case with\r\nregard to her was dropped for corpus delicti.\r\n\r\n
\r\n-The\r\nlegislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan has introducted a term\r\n\"on-line media\" and their compulsory registration. \r\n
\r\n-The\r\ndirector of legal college charged journalist of newspaper \"Issykskiy\r\nVestnik\" Aigul\r\nMusabaeva with slander.\r\n

In\r\nMarch, three judicial acts of earlier considered cases over suits on\r\nprotection of honour, dignity and business reputation were passed in\r\nMarch. They also, included one in appellate instance; one in board of\r\ncassation; one of them in favour of journalists and citizens.
\r\nSince\r\nthe beginning of the year in connection with execution of right to\r\nfreedom of expression, receiving and dissemination of information,\r\nthey were brought:
\r\n-\r\n5 charges with slander (incl. passing data 2);
\r\n-\r\n2 charges with incitement of national enmity;
\r\n-\r\n2 charges with dissemination of misleading information (article 274\r\nof Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan).
\r\n-\r\n25 pre-trial claims and suits on protection of honour, dignity and\r\nbusiness reputation. \r\n
\r\nFrom\r\nJanuary, courts considered 17 cases over suits on protection of\r\nhonour, dignity and business reputation in the total amount of\r\nKZT347000000.
