International\r\nFoundation for Protection of Freedom of Speech \"Adil\r\nSoz\" has\r\nconducted a\r\nsurvey of violations of right to freedom of expression, receiving and\r\ndissemination of information in April,\r\n2015 in Kazakhstan.

There\r\nwas following information: \r\n
\r\n-\r\nRelatives\r\nof persons, who were charged with attempt at fraud, they attacked\r\njournalists in court building in Aktobe.\r\n
\r\n-\r\nThe journalist of newspaper \"Ne\r\nKhabar?!\"\r\n(Aktau)\r\nwas\r\ndetained\r\nby policemen of Administrative Police under Department of Internal\r\nAffairs (Mangistau oblast) during procedure of handling of\r\npermission, in order to cover night police patrolling.\r\nLater,\r\nthey apologized to him.\r\n\r\n
\r\n-Board\r\nof Appeals has upheld acquittal with regard to owner of newspaper\r\n“Uralskaya\r\nNedelya” (“Ural,s Week”),\r\nTamara Eslyamova, journalist Talgat Umarov and lawyer Abzal Kuspanov\r\nover slander case.\r\n\r\n

In\r\nApril,\r\nfour\r\njudicial acts of earlier considered cases over suits on protection of\r\nhonour, dignity and business reputation were passed in March. They\r\nalso, included one in appellate instance; one in board of cassation;\r\ntwo\r\nof them in favour of journalists and citizens.
\r\n

Since\r\nthe beginning of the year in connection with execution of right to\r\nfreedom of expression, receiving and dissemination of information,\r\nthey were brought: \r\n
\r\n-\r\n5 charges with slander (incl. passing data – 2);
\r\n-\r\n2 charges with incitement of national enmity;
\r\n-\r\n3\r\ncharges with dissemination of misleading information (article 274 of\r\nCriminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan).
\r\n-32\r\npre-trial claims and suits on protection of honour, dignity and\r\nbusiness reputation.
\r\nFrom\r\nJanuary, courts considered 21\r\ncases\r\nover suits on protection of honour, dignity and business reputation\r\nin the total amount of KZT553millions\r\nand 600 thousands. \r\n
